I think you misinterpreted my post.
3 points are always significant, not disputing that. It's the way they were building up a victory against Blackburn, like it was anything other than expected. Everybody beats Blackburn at home, so this result is of little significance in respect to their ability to pip us to the post. Yet that's what they were implying it was.
"Spurs have proved they have whats necessary to finish in the top 4, by beating sides such as Blackburn at home" - an actual quote from Hoddle.
