If anyone receives a call from somebody saying that the bank has overcharged you and a legal document / pack will be sent out once you have gave him a few details then under no terms should you do so. From what I could gather, it was a scam. He mentioned barclaycard but he said prior that he would not require any bank details and shortly after (about 5 minutes) asked for the long number on my card. He phoned back once I terminated the call saying and I quote "I just want to be your friend!", very professional!
Just thought I'd warn you to be careful at this time. They will know your surname, but not your first name aside from the starting letter. Do not give them your first name, do not give them your age. Tell them jack shit! Ask them for the bank to charge the outstanding fees straight back into your own account.
From what I understand you are not required to sign any legal pack to do so this. If anyone can clarify this that'd be great.
Any stories regarding phone calls like this would be greatly appreciated.
