Where there's blame there's a claim
Well should find out soon enough. You are probably looking at £5-10,000 as you have been forced to stop the work you can do but not work altogether. You have damaged disks and any costs for treatment required can be passed on to them. There are loads of other bits too but as a rough guide it will probably fall into that region.
Never had a problem with my back in 20 odd years working in the building trade.be aware not all compensation claims are cut and dried.
The defence team may check your medical records and if you have ever blagged your doctor in the past for a sick note and cited a bad back this will show up and will be used to reduce your claim.
also if you point blank refuse an offer that the court subsequently deem a good one this will also go against you
Well should find out soon enough.
Git a full medical on the 12th April then solicitor has said he will put a value on the case about 3 weeks after
No wonder council tax is going up all the time
Could you lend us a tenner??
Here's what I don't get, in all the years in construction fitting 100's of kitchens in all sizes, I've never come across a kitchen so small two people couldn't lift a work top either side by side or on at each end. If it was so small the work top would have to be small enough for one man to lift easy enough. Do us a plan of the kitchen if you would to ease my mind. Lol
