Complaining. Let's hear some ideas then.

Yep. Such a pity people need things to whinge at, way I see it, we're the only side in England who has the chance to win at leat two trophies.
I'm waiting for the moaners to blame City/Pellegrini for the weaker Euro, rain clouds, late trains and the refugee crisis. Some love moaning...part of their Dna.

Good thread this! It's funny how back in the day we'd have been happy with any win and couldn't imagine ourselves in European competition. Because of recent success our sights are set on bigger and better things. We've won the league cup yet this season feels like a failure. Most of us are resigned to the fact that as well as we might have done in the CL, we won't win it but we've got to remember that this is City and we're more than capable of beating anyone on our day if we play well. The closer you get to the final the higher the stakes and we might pull something out of the bag. The reason we love football is because of romantic success stories. The game isn't played on paper. Leicester would have been relegated before the season began if it was.

The club have signed the best manager in the world. Will he guarantee success? No. But do we have everything in place now in terms of top class training, top quality academy, a decent sized stadium and resources to improve the playing squad? Yes! And will he take us to another level? Yes! We're now able to finally build that dominant squad we've been waiting for. We've not really progressed since Mancini's side, the first season under Pelle we played some excellent football but we haven't kicked on and the squad needs refreshing. Let's just see what happens from here on out. We managed to keep clean sheets without Kompany last season at the end of the campaign. Win all of our remaining games and we can still win the league.

Helps give me perspective reading the the forum equivalent of the main stand moaners' opinions on how terrible things have gotten. ;)

Id like to see us play 433 with Kelechi and Kun for a run of games. Kelechi/Kun/Sterling and MF of Dinho, Delph and Yaya. Give Silva the rest he desperately needs(even if that means he doesn't play again this season), Nasri and KDB to come into that formation as well which i think we are really missing.

Do people really think that supporters are just looking for things to whinge about because we need to?
If it was the odd one voicing their displeasure then I'd say fair enough, but that's patently not the case. Everyone is buzzing at the thought of next season but it shouldn't detract from some of the gash we've been served up over the last 18 months. It certainly shouldn't prevent us from being able to discuss the situation. I find it very strange the stance some have taken recently - not surprised though.

Get the players out to the supporters clubs and let them touch base with reality ,all think they are above every thing

I can't imagine Joe Hart coming to one of our supporter meetings in Leeds .
Only chance you have of meeting the players is at that staged event , before the season starts .
It's silly to think they will come to a supporters club meeting .

Given the apparent expertise on this forum do we really need Pep. There must be at least a dozen managerial geniuses posting here on a regular basis.

So I reckon they need to contact Khaldoon ASAP offering their knowledge and wisdom to ensure we get top 4.

You think we should all just keep quiet then and not discuss teams, tactics and various other City related stuff on A forum called Bluemoon?
None of us think we're experts. I'd say most love the game and have an opinion one way or another before, during and after games.
I'd take it up with Ric if you're after something a bit different.

I think some mustn't have been watching us play this season if they think that people are whinging for the sake of it. Team plays well = fans are happy. Team plays badly = fans are not happy. Not a difficult concept to grasp is it?

Wow, easy tiger calm down.
Sense of humour been affected by our current performance.

I'm calm mate, just responding to your post.
Yours isn't the only one going along the lines of "unless you're a professional manager you know shit" and although to a point it's correct, we certainly shouldn't refrain from offering our own views. Some are more positive than others but that's life.

I have a wonderful idea...start winning games! When that happens people will calm. If anyone thinks we don't have the right to complain on our recent form your delusional. We couldn't beat Norwich for Christ sakes

We certainly are allowed to voice opinion, but I was just having a bit of fun at those that do appear to know it all. Those that either know exactly what Pell is doing wrong or knowing for certain which players Pep will keep or not or in most cases know both

Since the day we got took over, I wouldn't change a fucking thing.

Pep to come as well, whats not to like?
Underachievement for three of the last four years, the boring and football for two years running (other than the cups this season where we've actually been decent) and strange squad assemblance when you consider the style we play [and will continue to play] under Guardiola.

Do what we did in the run ins of the last two seasons. Defend a bit deeper, be a bit more pragmatic generally in terms of selection and hope that we have enough individual quality going forward to grind out wins. It worked in the last six matches last season (with Kompany missing) and in the title season. I worry that as he's going anyway, Pellegrini might just take the "fuck it" attitude and just go for it. I don't think we are functioning well enough in any area of the pitch currently to get away with that.
