Congratulations Pep.

Pep's first job was Barcelona B in the fourth tier.

Won the title by changing the style and mentality to the point that they were reckoned to be be better run than the first team.

I agree that this "League Two" thing is bollocks (like asking Rembrandt whether he's any good at cutting-in). But Pep's done it anyway.

Even Sky had to acknowledge it
Notice that was before he become REALLY successful at City and the knives came out!

It’s OK to occasionally win a pot, as long as the red tops win the big stuff…and often…but if you get their noses out of joint, it suddenly becomes an investigation, a whisper campaign, dirty Arab oil money, couldn’t do it at a smaller club without world class players, etc, etc, etc!

Pep has literally REINVENTED English football in his own image, to the point that we have even changed the rules to allow defenders to get the ball from the keeper inside the box to enable them to play out from the back easier!

Who had ever even heard of an inverted fullback? Then, Pep goes from 1 to 2, then starts using an inverted centre half, with a 4 CB back line that can quickly become a 3!! Copycats abound, to the point that TAA at Liverpool has suddenly become a revelation…AGAIN!! Hahaha!

Not to worry, though, because in England we have got Big Sam “Pep” Allardyce and Sean “Pep” Dyche, while gireign “unknowns” like De Zervi get into Europe within half a season of taking over at those south coast giants, Brighton, by playing high press, break the lines football!

Like many people one comes across in life, some people won’t realize what they had until it’s gone. Thankfully, in the meantime, City fans have been enjoying the best football ever seen in English club history!

Now, just don’t fuck it up at the last two hurdles, Pep!
