Covid is just a myth as are other illnesses like diabetes and some forms of cancer, these things have been invented to help big pharm companies.

Add that to the "I have always said" when shocking news erupts even when this person has said nowt of the sort ever.

That's rough. Would struggle to be in a relationship with someone who invests their energy on things like this. Have lost friends through it.

Conspiracy theories start as a healthy curiosity for the truth but all too often end up as a support group for people with an intellectual inferiority complex.

Shit at high school science? Then believe in the Flat Earth. That way it’s not you that was shit at science, it’s everybody else.

Another trick of conspiracy theorists is to claim that normal people "believe the government". Or we believe anything the media tell us. We're gullible and sheep.
We all know there ARE government cover ups and conspiracies (Watergate in the US for example)...real issues...but they're not the kind of thing that conspiracy theorists are interested in. Boring. They want sci fi movie level conspiracies.

One conspiracy I've noticed is adding the words right wing to conspiracy theorists.
Questioning the narrative has never generally been a right wing thing.
For example, I believe there are a group of people who control everthing, and I'm also sure aliens have visited this planet.
Saying that these days means I'm right wing, a nonce and a nutjob.
