Didn't it take several years to find the Air France plane? This is going to be a mystery for a long time yet
They had a good idea where the Air France came down, it was the depth and conditions in the Atlantic that hindered the search, this Malaysian one is a total mystery

Ah right, i hope we get an answer for the poor families sake as well as everyone else's curiosity
Just interviewed the American wife of one of the passengers live on Sky news, she was unshakable in the belief that it was a hijacking and the passengers are still alive somewhere, bit fanciful IMO

She has said that all along, but hijackers have demands and as far as we know there aren't any,unless......

they found wreckage from the plane floating several days after the crash so they knew roughly where it was but it took 2-3 years to locate the black boxes

Exactly
Where are Mulder and Scully when you need them?

Could a plane land on either an aircraft carrier or on pontoons laid onto the sea? If so, could it not have landed and either sailed off somewhere or towed off. It could have since been dismantled and stored in the hulk of a ship or buried on land. The passengers could have been incarcerated against their wills and forced into slavery or sexual depravity at the hands of a David Koresh type of cult leader. What's for sure is the entire investigation has been a complete balls up.

No chance! Have you seen the length of a runway suitable for a passenger jet?
It's at the bottom of the sea at a depth where communication and location systems are all but useless.
Too many people think "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" was a documentary.

I'm honestly not having a go at other people, but personally I don't like to comment on events unless I have some understanding of what could of happened. So I avoided pretty much anything to do with Flight MH370 and waited for a documentary to be produced that would would provide factual information from experts.

Last night I watched BBC Horizon's documentary of the Flight MH370 mystery and found it extremely informative. So I am sharing in case anyone else is interested:

The Malaysians have today officially declared the missing aeroplane an accident
I suppose this is for legal reasons and to give closure to the relatives, meanwhile the search will go on say the Malaysian authorities
