Had to watch this, last night, on my phone but...
Shaw had an off game in a match she could got, at least, a brace. Hemp was, also, down a level (maybe not excited enough at her return to a previous club?).
Raso showed 2 sides of her game; being a direct attacking threat producing her goals and then not picking the best pass options in possession.
Hasegawa's weakest game for me as she's way better than last nights game. I really like McIver, decisive and moves the ball.
Houghton, despite it being standard fare, showed her leadership and willingness to break the lines. Would like to see her back in the main team.
Not really sure what difference Fowler offers.
I reserve my best thoughts on Mace, who came on as DM. Clearly, she's not going to get a CB role, despite being better than a couple of players in our squad. And, although, in the beginning of her introduction she ball watched and didn't find the spaces (think Kalvin Philips), she grew into the game and recycled the ball, offering great shielding to the back four.
The women don't have a DM that's an enforcer, willing to put the tackle in and break up play as Mace did, yesterday and cover the likes of Hasegawa. Her willingness to get forward and try a shot or two needs working on, but if it's true Taylor is willing to throw her out on loan, when she has a potential role in the middle, he's lost his mind and I'll no longer sit on the fence with him.
