Next year I believe...
United ( i'm old school I dont call em scum munichs or RAGS) will have a good season next year..Remember the Berbatov we saw boss us out of the game for Spurs in the Carling cup...i think he'll return for them next year and lead the line for them, and I think Owen will get a bagful in a world cup year, along with Rooney.
I think Liverpool will run them close but won't have enough.
Arsenal had a fantastic undefeated run post Christmas and could mount a challenge but too lightweight
It's between us and Chelsea for 4th i reckon, because I think we'll start well, fade away over November/Dec, then come really strong over the second half of the season.
The following season will be a different story..
Giggs, Scholes, Neville, Van der Sar, Owen, Baconface all past their sell by date and no money to replace them
Abramovic's interest will cool, as he refuses to plough more money into the club
I see us and Arsenal as being the two teams scrapping it out..potentially with the US investors at Villa throwing some money at Martin O'Neil.
The future is City...but we may have to be patient!
