I've got to agree, very impressed with Cook. Looks like we have a professional doing the job. So it makes me sad to read a city fan's opinion in last night's Evening News slagging him off.
 
Yeah I agree completely.

I wasn't pleased with Cook at all last season. But he has really won my respect. Good Job Cookie!

^^^THIS and guy in men probs not a city fan mate just a tosser, cook has been outstanding only hiccup being kaka but when your dealing with one of the best players in the world shit can go wrong very quickly everything else made me smile.

He's doing a brilliant job, building the brand and doing things for the local supporters.

The new billboard is a brilliant piece of marketing.

Some people still slag him on here, but there is nobody I would prefer to be running things !
 
kenyon or cook.......... not quite the same roles, but kenyon doesn't even get a look in for me.

WTF ??

Cook's expertise is with marketing - which City are getting so right at the moment ( see the Tevez poster and the interest it has created ).

He is also putting himself in the firing line with fans. I wonder when the last time a Kenyon or a Gill turned up at a fans forum and answered un-vetted questions. They are listening to the supporters on every level and there will be stacks of improvements next season.

Ive had a mates of other teams say its unbelievable that we have a free concert with Doves playing to launch the new kit !!

Cook's remit is building the club up. He has brought in a great team around him - and you will see the likes of Marwood playing major roles in player negotiations.
 
The billboard is genius! I love it. The retro kit is class I like the way he's taking the club now. I was one that doubted him last year. We've only got to look at what he helped turn Nike into. Keep it up Cookie!!
