I'm pumped for this match. Don't see the US with much of a chance against Messi and Kun and the Argeis, but the US beating the odds is a lot more likely Leicester winning the league so you never know. Going to be real tough considering all the suspensions we have as well.

100% agree. All the knockout matches go straight to PKs if I'm not mistaken, which makes your above scenario more likely than if we had to hang on for 120 mins.

The only way I see us winning is if Guzan has one of those days (ie Howard against Belgium), and we either score off a set piece, or a Dempsey moment of magic. A win tonight would be one of the biggest wins ever for the USMNT.

USA could get to their first major final, not counting the Gold Cup as they've usually been a shoe in the make the final in the past. I've seen all of the American sports teams wishing them good luck on twitter, must be one of the biggest games in US history.
