Zabaleta immense tonight
Somewhat sad tbh, I have expected Argentina to be a goal scoring machine for both this and last summer, but only their friendly match last month against Bolivia showed anything of the sort. Both Tata and Sabella have gone with fairly defensive approaches. It's clearly Di Maria, every attack breaks down with him. He takes too many touches and then makes bad choices, the other players have worked some fantastic positions for him and he's squandered them all. I'm also not sure that Biglia really does anything
you could almost say the same for MessiIt's clearly Di Maria, every attack breaks down with him. He takes too many touches and then makes bad choices, the other players have worked some fantastic positions for him and he's squandered them all. I'm also not sure that Biglia really does anything
There's a little bit of selfish in me that is not too worried when Kun comes off.No idea how Aguero is always the first off, he's been excellent, while Di Maria never gets taken off despite constantly being shite
I like that he doesn't get kicked anymore, I just think he's hugely under appreciated. He plays such an unselfish role in the Argentina team, constantly dragging the defence to the right to open up channels for Messi and Di Maria, but he gets no credit for it at all. There's a little bit of selfish in me that is not too worried when Kun comes off.
