Copenhagen Away

Agree on Stockholm one of my favorite places on the world
Oslo is also fantastic with loads to do but bloody expensive! However it’s worth it for sure
Oslo is great but Bergen even better.
These two places are the only place where I have not had a beer when there.
A few years back and the cheapest beer in a pub was about £8 in our money and that was a small bottle.
Loads to do in Copenhagen as well.

Are the prices in Copenhagen really as bad as we’ve heard? Heard of £10+ a drink but done some some quick research online and seen a few places which are quite a lot cheaper(£4-5ish a pint)

Copenhagen is a lot better than Oslo and Bergan for beer.

I think that you will be able to find some cheap places,i have just checked a place called the Dubliner it is located on a prime location on a pedestrian street in the citycenter and they charge 4.50 Gbp a small Guiness and a 7.80 Gbp for a large Guiness,Carlsberg is a little bit cheaper.
Somebody on here suggested some cheap places where the students hang out.
If the weather is nice you could buy something to drink in a supermarket and sit in a park.

Luckily I was on company business so I actually did have a beer (or 10) but they ranged from 12-15 quid each !!

We have a few logistical problems for the upcoming match and I was wondering if anyone can offer any insight. I have managed to secure 4x tickets for the match through my local MCFC supporters group, 1 of which has been booked under my name and 3 of which have been booked under other names, but are to be passed on to friends. The first issue is that we received an email saying the tickets will be dispatched latest 3 days before the match (we fly out in the Sunday night so if they do arrive at the very last minute we wouldn’t have time to receive the tickets prior to departure). The second potential issue is that at the time of purchase I was told at this stage of the competition last season, away tickets were print at home paper tickets without names on, and so taking friends who were not registered in the supporters group would be ok. However, we have received an email which states that tickets will only be allocated to the named member who applied for them. I am not sure if this means that the tickets will have names on and they need to be matched to passports or not. The guys I am going with are lifelong blues and go to city regularly, but we just thought it would be fine to order the tickets through the supporter club on this occasion as it improved our chances of all being given a ticket, and we believed tickets would not have names on. Any advice would be appreciated, is it best that I ring City supporter services or ask my local branch to do so.

I would call City supporter service just to be sure but the tickets are on general sale so i think that it should not be a problem if there are names on the tickets.
