Copenhagen: Pubs, info and plan

It's embarassing at how the fans from European teams are so welcoming to us, and we don't do anything half as welcoming or friendly.

In Spain, we got adopted by some Santander fans who took us round the town and refused to let us buy them a beer. The Danish (and Faroese) have been brilliant with us, so I can't wait until we get over there and meet up with them.

I would definatley second that....

Would be good to have a few beers with the FCK fans in Copenhagen

BA are a disgrace, have spoken to them this morning about wavering the transfer fee, as they have us flying back into Heathrow on friday then our connection is from Gatwick back to Manchester 3 hours later. They have told me that there is a flight out of Heathrow at the same time with availability but this will still cost 44 squid. There a fucking joke, why the fuck have they made us fly out of a different airport when there was a perfectly good flight out of the same fucking airport, fucking fuck fuck fuck!

In relation to the comments on here regarding our euro trips totally agree that all the fans from Streymur to Santander have been very hospitable towards us. Evensent a letter to City asking if they could do more as a host for the euro fans but got no reply. Anyway see you all in the "hagen" tomorrow night...

cant wait now, got my euros (going via dublin) & kronas, hope our uefa away form holds out - 4 wins out of 5

anyone else going via dublin & billund? (7.55am ryan air man-dub tomorrow)

Thanks Morten, was Don O a local businessman who came good for you or was he already successful elsewhere?

Well, Don Ø was a self-made man, who had success with a business furniture company. In one of his books (yep, he has published 3 books) he describe himself as a "sports nerd" and therefore his furniture company sponsored different sports clubs - among others FCK - and that was his access to the club in the beginning.

He is really a love/hate guy - as you can see to read from some reactions in this thread. He is very direct and arrogant, but he also delivers the results. On a weekly basis, you can´t open a magazine or newspaper without a picture of him. He participates in tv- shows and talkshows on the national radio, but he´s a no bulls!!t kind of guy.

Don Ø is living the three key values of the club - De stolte, de arrogante og de sublime. In English that is: The proud, the arrogant and the sublime. See this tifo:http://www.fckfc.dk/files/Billeder/tifoer/fckbif_300406/fck-bif_300406-10.jpg and it very well describes the mentality of your opponent.

By the way, I came across this link from FCK.dk. As you can see the pit is brandnew. Last week there was a kind of kids expo in the stadium (LEGO World) and afterwards they "installed new grass". From the pictures you can see there is a roof over the stadium. Dont expect it to cover the stadium Thurdays night. http://www.fck.dk/index.php?pageid=754&newsid=8896
