I'll tell you one I remember. The derby after the last derby at Maine Road, the show on the day before it had the match being shown in the pub. Showed a scene with half of the pub dressed in city shirts and half united. Les battersby, In a city shirt, said at the end of the show, as the match was supposed to be starting "come on, turn it on, we are all waiting to see if Gary Neville gives us another moment of magic!"

Although Bruce Jones is a big blue, his character was supposed to be a rag - the props department put a rag picture on his house (as a wind up cos he was a blue) - can't comment on any episodes though... can't stand soaps, don't watch them!

Strangely I saw Bruce in a pub in Llandudno the other week. He is fitting tyres part time now!

Bloody hell. It's only about a year since he was on big brother.

I think garry windas is a blue in the show and so is Phelan. Phelan gave garry season tickets.

And Martin Platt was a red, i, like afew others saw him get a slap just by the entrance to the smaller bar area, head nearly bounced off the glass. Was just after one of the derbies think it was the 3-2.

The lad who plays Andy Sugden in Emmerdale is a blue - seen him at loads of matches and used to park near the bus depot when at Maine Road

As is the guy that plays Cain Dingle....seen him many times at the match.

They went to the same school, North Chadderton. My old man was the Deputy Head.

Ha ha - saw him ( cain dingle ) on Sunday when we won the league on the concourse at half time in the south stand -
I was a bit pissed and shouted something i thought was dead funny to him - fair play he just laughed and gave me the thumbs up

There's a scene in the Dustbinmen when Winston is at Old Trafford in the old scoreboard end standing behind the goal and a Rag comes up to him mouthing off about City and Winston picks him up and throws him on top of the goal net.
