I've been at a funeral today and a family friend was there who used to (retired now) make the sets for Coronation St and he was telling me that he once had to make a grill to cover the magazines in the paper shop because the fooker who plays Ken Barlow used to steal the expensive magazines, apparently they have to be up to date otherwise the viewers complain.
