Yes as i undertand it, if your kids test positive with the inaccurate positive flow test, you are not allowed or advised to get the more accurate PCR test, the schools have to abide by the rubbish flow test. This makes no sense unless it is to save money or not use testing capacity and all at the expense of school childrens education. Bizarre policy.

they spent £400m on them months ago with a view to opening up certain sectors of society early then the MHRA told them they were shite but they'd bought them, so they were stuck. This is purely PR to look pro-active and use stock so there's not an enquiry into £400m misspent, that's all it is.

For those who feel the daily hospital Covid admissions are they key demographic - and they certainly chart the past 6 weeks well I do agree - here they are in England from 19 January - the peak of this wave.

They only go up to 9 March - another reason I tend not to use them as they are 2 days behind to be 'finalised'.

You may notice the Monday effect where there is a big rise in admissions - which causes the same impact - though usually less severe - on the Monday total patients numbers I post every night here.

I've read a lot of reports where people have died and the medical people have put covid as cause of death despite that not being the case in a lot of incidents.
The question is if this proves to be true in the post covid review then why is this being done?
I can't get my head around it and it only makes the conspiracy theories look plausible.

I think it's about right only my opinion, think some will be counted that shouldn't and the same the other way.

How many 'indirect ones' we'll have over the next few years from the NHS being strained and not able to do normal duties is another thing.

A care home I work at , said doctors was putting covid on death certificate even though no one was going out and not had covid cases

Ventilators 1197 - it was 4077 at the peak on 24 Jan - (fall of 2880 in 46 days)

Peak was 34, 336 on 18 Jan (fall 27, 649 in 52 days)

Ventilators: Down in day 36 to 1101 v 1454 last week

Peak was 3736 on 24 Jan (fall 2635 in 46 days)

I researched this after some numpty posted conspiracy rubbish on social media and was immediately reassured that medical people can easily identify a COVID death from a non COVID death and that the figures are likely to be higher rather than lower. If there was any way this lying government could cover their ineptitude by reporting fewer deaths they’d take it.

I think it's the right thing to do. Hiding anything could prove more damaging in the long run.

What I do think though is that most other countries around the world aren't doing the same.

Loads in my lads class got positive flow test - all negative on the proper tests but still cant go in school for ten days! What a load of bollox.

That really is ridiculous.
