See, I have very little problem with this. It’s outdoors, it’s sunny. What we don’t want is parties indoors.

It's these gatherings that leads to house parties, 20 odd teens in a park or someones garden, there not gonna call it a day and all go home, zero chance.
 
Rather selective headline when the article says;

“But the ONS warned it was seeing evidence of a reduction in antibodies in older people in the most recent data. It said: “This is likely due to people in these prioritised age groups having received their first vaccine dose but have not yet received their second dose. This does not necessarily mean they have no immunity protection against Covid-19...”

Not quite so good news

12 deaths - was 7 last week

411 cases - was 495 last week

109 Lothian, 94 Greater Glasgow, 76 Lanarkshire

2.8% positivity - was 3.6% last week

250 patients - down 9 on yesterday - was 341 last week

23 Ventilated icu - up 1 on yesterday - was 28 last week.

I've liked this post as although it's not good news on the death numbers, all the other data is an improvement on last week. I think when it comes to death numbers, we're going to start getting a few more blips due to the figures being so low compared to where they were some weeks ago
 
Wales vaccination data:

1, 413, 710 first doses given - 12, 960 today - was 13, 167 yesterday & 15, 064 last week

424, 016 second doses given - 7154 today - was 4199 yesterday & 7289 last week
