Northern Ireland data:

0 deaths - was 0 last week@

107 cases - was 113 last week

4,0% positivity - was 5.4% last week

4 care home outbreaks - up 1 on yesterday - was 6 last week

614 Rolling weekly cases total - was 610 yesterday and 644 last week

37 patients - down 1 on yesterday - was 56 last week

2 Ventilated - down 1 on yesterday - was 4 last week



The hospital data here is happily going the right way even at these very low numbers

Here are the age ranges of those testing positive from the last week of 614 cases

0 - 19 (195) 31.8%

20 - 39 (257) 41.9%

40 - 59 (124) 20.2%

60- 79 (27) 4.4%

80 PLUS (11) 1.7%

The trend continues explaining the low deaths in UK

73.7% of those catching Covid under 40

Only 6.1% over 60.
 
So todays deaths with England out of hospital to come is 6

Last wk it was 11, wk before 25

And cases 545 - first time over 500 in a while.

Last wk it was 480, wk before 238 - so cases clearly going up.

But we knew that and testing is greater than it was

And serious illness and deaths as yet still going the right way.

Though small warning signs in hospital data in Scotland especially.
 
jeez just reading some of the conspiracy theories from 4 people who are refusing the vaccines:

1/ Person Said everyone who has the vaccine will die in 10 years
2/ Person said that it's part of the great "reset" and population controlling
3/ Person said Bill Gates is to blame and the jabs contain microchips
4/ Person said that it's part of a global conspiracy to do with Aliens

Question is do we refuse NHS treatment and rights to these people?

If anything they need urgent NHS care - the NHS still runs insane asylums, right?

Do we refuse it to alcoholics, drink drivers in accidents, drug users, the obese, brexit supporters?

Predicted Cases 2749 DOWN 46 from yesterday. First fall in a few days.

North West UP into the highest of all UK regions - even above Scotland.

Predicted symptomatic cases also up big to 35, 619 - a rise of 1080 in day. Down a bit on yesterday too.






NORTH WEST NUMBERS

BOLTON 386 / 1361 V 348 / 1227 - Another rise but a more modest one today. And nowhere near the numers twice or three times this two weeks ago.

Back as an area of concern according to Zoe.

Also now the ONLY such pink area (in the lowest of the watch zones) in the North West. Even High Peak now fallen below there and nowhere else recording above Bolton.





Others GM Areas:-



BURY 87 / 463 V 79 / 417 - another smallish rise here

MANCHESTER 87 / 160 V 105 / 193 - a small fall which is good to see

OLDHAM 42 / 178 V 35 / 149 - slightly up but only marginally and not in trouble.

ROCHDALE 17 / 80 V 20 / 94 another nice little day to day

SALFORD 25 / 97 V 22 / 86 - a third successive small increase here but at a very low base.

STOCKPORT 91 / 315 V 81 / 282 - also a third successive but again modest rise here. But it needs to be watched as is higher than most GM boroughs.

TAMESIDE 28 / 125 V 31 / 138 - unlike neighbour Stockport another small fall for third day

TRAFFORD 65 / 277 V 56 / 240 - again matching Stockport with a third straight modest rise

WIGAN 36 / 111 V 29 / 90 - again like Trafford and Stockport edging up a little


Chorley is low but inched up a tad to 17 / 146 V 15 / 131


Fylde (Blackpool) is miles down on 8 / 108 V 7 / 93 seems over the hump



High Peak (Glossop/Whaley Bridge/Buxton) again edges down on 19 / 207 V 20 / 222


All in all not much change today.



But according to Zoe the worst areas in UK right now are:-


Aberdeen (Scotland) 1808 / 8000 V 1122 / 4963

BIG INCREASE HERE - NOW WORST AREA IN UK ON ZOE




Newport (Wales) 279 / 3004 V 935 / 6142 - halved here in day

North Lanarkshire (Scotland) 1503 / 4441 V 1745 / 5156 - a good fall here

North Lincolnshire 544 / 3190 V 757 / 4444 - Big fall

Bedford 625 / 3676 V 755 / 4443 - a small fall

Leeds 2704 / 3449 V 3013 / 3844 - a small fall

Wolverhampton 708 / 2707 V 895 / 3444 - a modest fall here too

Bradford also on the list now at 1896 / 3554

A few clusters in the south now appearing too. Though none above the kind of levels in Bolton. Which is at present not remotely the highest in the UK as you see above. According to Zoe.
 
I've just activated the myGP TICKet vaccination status feature. You get a green ✅ next your photo and it has your name, date of birth and date of your second vaccination. Interestingly, you are unable to take a screenshot of it for security reasons.

Looks really good.

1 If they are talking about the ones over 80 they will not be far wrong. But not by magic.

2 It will be as the reset will see the ones spouting this tosh reset as twerps

3 I think a few people out of hundreds of millions might have noticed a microchip being injected into their arm however good they are at miniaturisation.

4 I happen to know a lot about aliens and I am assured they have all buggered off to Alpha Centauri where they are not all infected with a deadly disease and also welcome them as wise and more enlightened rather than shoot at them.

It is so easy to make up nonsense. Much harder to think about the facts.
