Id actually hazard a guess there are very very few people in 60-79 bracket that dont have some sort of pre existing condition mind you :)

hey have you done the maths on the potential deaths yet? I might have some time at the weekend to spend on it?

Nope, fraid not, we're getting blitzed work wise at the mo. can spare a few mins here and there on here when compiling some code but thats about it.

It wasn’t here where I read it, but this is the same story.

Something isn’t right with either our data on India’s.
Clearly it’s all about how you look at that. Those 12 deaths came from tens of thousands of cases. Some people who are double vaccinated could still be very ill (terminally) and also have caught Covid. Being double vaccinated doesn’t cure all ills I guess.

The point is it was 12 from 38 total deaths or whatever it was. So almost a 3rd of all delta variant deaths were double jabbed.

So why have we still got any restrictions?

This lockdown extension is going to cost the country roughly £30 billion fag packet analysis but it will be in that region. So there's going to have to be a huge number of deaths to justify it and quite frankly there just won't be. They could have opened up and funnelled half of that £30 billion into the NHS instead to cope over the summer period instead
