Got a text from my gp surgery yesterday saying unless it's absolutely necessary don't come in for blood tests as they are short of test kits. I have been feeling shit for about 10 days, sweaty achy and tired same as my mate across the road. Have taken covid home tests every 2 days all negative. I've spoken to quite a few people who feel the same and presume a lot are going to their doctor with these symptoms and having blood tests hence the shortage. I feel OK for a few days then it hits me again. Double jabbed several months ago too

8 deaths - was 3 last week

5858 cases - was 3464 last week

14.2% positivity - was 10.9% last week

494 patients - up 15 on yesterday - was 320 last week

49 ventilated icu - up 2 on yesterday - was 32 last week


NO WAY TO PRETEND THESE NUMBERS ARE GOOD AS HOSPITAL DATA IS NOW STARTING TO INCREASE

6 deaths - was 4 last week

1430 cases - was 1612 last week

No Wales data on Saturday as always - so:-

The two nation deaths with England to be added later are 14

Last week they were 7

The all settings later were 104 when England added 97
