lifes a shit house, better crack on enjoying it

yep I can’t get my head around peoples fear and logic. Let’s stop living to make sure we don’t die from a virus we will more than likely survive if we catch it

It’s about balance, about 90% of people I know manage the balance quite well staying safe living their lives, a few struggle.
Those that struggle though have their personal reasons and fears. Not that hard to get you head around understanding it.

I will always struggle to get my head round seeing people driving alone with a mask on or walking down the street

In a car alone, fair enough. Down the street, depends, maybe they are vulnerable or / and unvaccinated and particularly fearful for many reasons. Or maybe like me a couple of times are walking between shops and have forgotten or can’t be arsed taking it off.
Either way not something I think about as it really doesn’t matter why.

There is always a lag to the change in ongoing cases after a rise or fall in daily case numbers as ongoing cases persist and are not just counted on the day of first report.

TODAYS DATA

REGIONS:-

North West moves UP into FOURTH place but still in the second watch zone.

NORTH WEST UP very little to 787 / 1050 FROM 784 / 1046.

UP TOP:-

THERE ARE THREE IN THE HIGHEST WATCH ZONE

WALES STILL FIRST UP again on 1034 / 1440 FROM 1018 / 1418

Northern Ireland stays second - but again DOWN on 579 / 1613 FROM 591 / 1614

Yorkshire in third is UP again today. On 872 / 1188 FROM 858 / 1169

The next four are are in the next lower watch zone - headed by NORTH WEST in fourth - a little way behind Yorkshire or going up,

East Midlands is fifth behind NW Indeed East Midlands is UP again today on 754 / 1052 FROM 736 / 1028 - pretty closely aligned with the North West.

NORTH EAST is sixth and FALLS rises above by much more to 680 / 1121 FROM 709 / 115

And Scotland in seventh make up the lowest of the four in this second tier still falling in sixth is about as flat as it gets on Zoe - on 684 / 970 FROM 684 / 969

THE LOWER WATCH ZONE CONTAINS ALL OF THE SOUTHERN REGIONS AND THE WEST MIDLANDS - THE GEOGRAPHICAL SPLIT NORTH/SOUTH APPARENT IN THE REAL CASE DATA EVERY DAY IS TRUE ON ZOE TOO - THOUGH MOST PLACES ARE EDGING UP ON ZOE EVEN HERE

South West is now BEST in the UK again - but UP slightly FROM 458 / 627 TO 468 / 640

South East next lowest is UP too on 498 / 625 FROM 479 / 603 .

LONDON is next but UP a bit again on 542 / 718 FROM 537 / 711

East is next UP on 559 / 745 FROM 531 / 712

So all the southern regions some way back of the rest of the UK.

West Midlands - the only interloper - is closest to the higher watch zone ust slightly UP on 556 / 813 FROM 555 / 810

But a little way from catching Scotland in the watch zone above.

ZOE APP DATA

TODAY

GREATER MANCHESTER:-

Rochdale moves UP to top spot - which seems absurd given its numbers in real life as the best in GM on recent days - but now into the higher watch zone on 11, 920 FROM 10, 638

Bury second- JUST - edging UP on 11, 195 FROM 11, 054.

Stockport DOWN to third on 10, 751 FROM 11, 027 - it has been very flat for a week with scores just 489 apart between 10, 701 and 11 ,190 across the past 6 days.

EVERYONE ELSE STILL IN THE LOWER WATCH ZONE

Wigan fourth UP on 9707 FROM 7852

Tameside is fifth also UP - on 9283 FROM 9073- probably should be higher here

Manchester is sixth flat too but up slightly on 9188 FROM 8997

JUST 2732 points separating the top 6 shows the boroughs are levelling off on Zoe.

Trafford is seventh also UP a little on 7496 FROM 6833

Oldham stays eighth also UP on 7451 FROM 6440

Bolton edges UP in ninth on 5239 FROM 5055

BUT STILL EASILY BEST IN GM AFTER WEEKS OF DAILY FALLS IN THE REAL DATA IS STILL :-

Salford - DOWN again by a tad on 3038 FROM 3070

REST OF NORTH WEST

St Helens is DOWN slightly on 19, 394 FROM 22, 025 and NOT now THE highest in the NW.

Liverpool is slightly DOWN too and also well above all of GM on 18, 403

Sefton slightly UP on 13. 930 but also still above all of GM

So Merseyside not GM is still the problem in the North West according to Zoe.

Even Warrington is above all of GM but DOWN slightly on 13, 181

LAKE DISTRICT NORTH UP ON 28, 597 FROM 26, 162 IS STILL THE HIGHEST IN THE NORTH WEST AND ONE OF THE MOST IN THE UK - WITH LANCASTER AND MORECAMBE UP ON 18, 547

BUT THE OTHER AREA OF CONCERN (sorry Andyhinch):-

Cheshire East which is really very surprisingly still above Stockport and UP TODAY to only just over its neighbour to the north.

UP to 14, 150 FROM 13, 652 - been consistently over Stockport all week.

Very unusual for Cheshire East to be still above all GM boroughs - BUT it still is THOUGH no longer over Chester and Cheshire West which went UP again on 19, 734 FROM 18, 892 - which is also now over St Helens making Chester and Cheshire West the main problem in the south of the NW region.
