Awful numbers. Hope they start moving in the right direction soon. What sort of percentage of the population have had the jab? And have they started with boosters yet?
About 65% have had both jabs I think. Under 12s not eligible yet. Boosters started some time ago. My mum (83) had hers over a month ago. I'm due for mine on Christmas Day but will be putting it back a day or two if I can't bring it forward.

Worryingly I think under 80% of over 60s have been vaccinated so I expect hospitalisations and death figures to be pretty bad in the weeks to come.

Situation is made a bit more difficult as we are kind of between governments at the moment.

India tried it in the height of there delta wave but have removed it from distribution because it did nothing to help.

japans never authorised it as a treatment. That being said Dr Campbell certainly thinks it has even though its not listed on there authorised medications for Covid.

It was only after watching Dr. Campbell’s video yesterday, that prompted me to write what I did. He did an earlier video on India too.

Yeah fair play, it has to be said that he's seemingly falling for false info in his videos recently. He seems 100% convinced Ivermectin works and is trying to prove it without actually checking his facts anymore and ignoring the double blind trials that seem to always point at it not helping.

I actually emailed him after this japan video to ask where he got his information from for Ivermectin in Japan as its not an approved medication and provided the link to the medicine board website for Japan.

I don't think 65% is much less than ours - I heard somewhere that we've 68% of the population double jabbed, but the key could be the over 60s as you say. Under 80% is worryingly low

Oh how they ridiculed the AZ jab.

The fucking workhorse of this entire pandemic, now showing itself to the rest of Europe as the best of the bunch.

But it was cheap, you see, didn't fit the agenda.

I have always been pretty uncomfortable with the actual brand of a vaccine becoming 'a thing'. I've had numerous vaccines over the years, yellow fever, flu etc etc and never once have I known nor cared which pharma company made the jab. One of the most distasteful parts of this pandemic has been the commercial interests clouding the vaccine rollout and making it less optimal than it could have been.

I'm right on the cusp of 39/40 and my first two jabs were AZ, which is actually what I wanted despite all the talk and scaremongering around blood clots and to-ing and fro-ing about whether people my age should have had it. No, particular reason, call it gut feeling but I'm still glad I did and would happily choose an AZ booster if it was an option.

Macron has blood on his hands and should be ashamed of himself for using a life-saving jab as a political football.
