All depends on how old you are.Booster booked for end of December which will be 6 months..I await the call from the NHS to get me in sooner?
Nothing at all!Are not most cases with every variant mild and some of them (usually due to underlying issues such as health conditions and/or age - or vaccination status) then become severe? What is suggesting this is different in Omicron?
They are changing the gap to 3 months to get jabs into arms before Omnicron takes over but they haven't announced the dare when this comes into force yet.Booster booked for end of December which will be 6 months..I await the call from the NHS to get me in sooner?
They’re still going to go down the age cohorts like they did at the start so older will be invited first. There’s no possibility of a 30 year old getting a booster at 3 months, unless they’ve not had any doses yet! They are changing the gap to 3 months to get jabs into arms before Omnicron takes over but they haven't announced the dare when this comes into force yet.
The Government announced then published it yesterday all over 18s to be offered the booster by the end of Jan 2022.They’re still going to go down the age cohorts like they did at the start so older will be invited first. If under 40's only get offered the booster by end of Jan 2022 then I'll get mine nearly a whole year after my first jab (had my first in Feb, second in April). Jan will be around 9 months from my second jab...The Government announced then published it yesterday all over 18s to be offered the booster by the end of Jan 2022.
However for booking they haven't changed the criteria yet. Also seems very tight so "offered" may not be what people expect.
