Absolutely my experience too and I’m a sample of 5 people I know infected.I'm a sample of one and therefore no basis for scientific claims but I'm into day 3 of having Covid. I'm 55 and triple jabbed .... quite clearly it's transmissible, even with vaccines, but so far I've nothing more than a bad head cold and a few aches and pains. In normal times I'd be in work with those symptoms but isolating and missing lots (including a 7-0 win) during the current hysteria. I'm not sure where the country/world goes from here but isolations, lockdowns and the destruction of the hospitality sector for what, from my experience, resembles little more than a cold?
I gave him a little jip the other night presuming he was younger than me, I was always taught to respect my seniors.
My good lady carried on throughout my bout, with no issue at all. She's had all 3 though.Ah good. We'll I've had 4 days of negative LFTs in a row now and a PCR, so nice to know I can get out for some fresh air. I won't take the piss or anything obviously.
I think that's the general rule for "deaths", and there have been cases of death within 7 days of a positive test, I think 7 days is more normal for hospitalisations, but the real increase is only just happening, so it might be next week we see that start rising. It takes 3-4 weeks since infection to result in hospitalisation
I needed someone to point it out to me, on here, the other day, tbf.Cheers. I kind of remember this as well. I'm blaming old age.
yes we got this when we got off the aircraft at manchester,it was only the wife clicked on exemptions that we realised we didnt have to isolate due to beig jabbed,no mention in the text off them other than laying the law down about isolation,it was from the NHS app 'i think that pinged us' so they knew full well we had been jabedYou know what, ive just re-read the email. They word it in a way to make you feel like you have to be in...
"NHS Test and Trace has identified you as a contact of someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19. Unless you are exempt, it is your legal duty to stay at home and self-isolate. You must self-isolate until 24th of December (including this date)."
I presumed exempt was key worker or something. Just googled it and it means anyone double-jabbed. They certainly don't fucking mention that in the email! I definitely should have paid more attention though. Just presumed I was stuck in now.
i think this is correctI might be wrong but did I hear/read that you had to isolate if someone you live with was positive for Omicron, this includes those who are fully jabbed?
