It’s only protection from catching it that reduces after 10 weeks. Protection from it spreading in your cells and making you ill lasts much longer.

The narrative has gone from we cannot rely on any data from SA as its not comparable to the UK to there is no indication that Omicron is any less severe than Delta, to well it might be less severe, to early signs show it may be less severe but we need more data, to well it could be 50 to 70% less severe but its only a glimmer of hope. and the vaccine wears out after 16 weeks. Give it another two weeks or so and I will bet my bottom dollar it will be exactly if not better than what the SA scientists said.

The UK scientists have seemingly ignored the uk data evidence of the vaccine effectiveness against Delta the past two months. cases doubling and hospital numbers dropping and deaths falling. Tightening the isolation rules the past two weeks which has resulted in staff shortages accross the NHS and other key areas. We have seemingly learnt nothing since we last did this. Why didnt the policy makers and modelling pick up this scenario, another cock up.

And exactly what we should be doing here. If you’re Unwell then stay at home, if not get to work. Jabs, boosters and just get on with it.

It is mate, 18 out of 19 current COVID inpatients are unvaccinated according to the trust’s daily report yesterday. Now it might be a freak occurrence from the current patient cohort and soon get back to the stat I’d previously seen which ~40% vaccinated / ~60% unvaccinated in hospital. But I do agree it is a stat they should be broadcasting

I heard her on the LBC interview and with Chris Mason on Radio 2 on Wednesday, she had a level of indignation that suggested she was not being listened to, quite incredible given her expertise and findings, I found her very engaging and someone who our Scientists should have taken notice of.

It's would be funny as fuck if it wasn't for the fact these people are serious. As well as medical experts they are all legal ones now too.

What's the betting that the Magna Carta was cited in the "legal papers"?

I'm convinced this whole thing is just a way for people with low status & intelligence to make themselves seem important in their own minds.
