Thank you, but it was not hard to spot. 30,000 cases in Northern Ireland stands out a mile as having another explanation. Even if I had not known they had not posted for days. I am sure journalists covering the pandemic saw it too.Good spot!
I'm saying that the term 'critical incident' is an incorrect description of a standard management procedure to deal with situations such as temporary staff shortages.
In normal times it doesn't really matter but it is being used currently to make out that sections of the NHS are close to collapse. They are under pressure certainly but that is what highly paid managers are meant to deal with.
Normal delivery of healthcare is constrained more or less every winter for multiple reasons.OK, so you want the escalation procedures to be renamed?
Suggest you get over it and accept the reality that covid is, in those areas, preventing the normal delivery of health care.
Money talks.Regarding Djokovic......how has he received an exemption to allow him to compete in the Australian Open?

Alarmist headlines are grist to the mill for Covid fanatics.
No idea what you’re on about.Hospitalisation and efficacy data disagrees.
Shouldn't we be on 3,000 deaths per day by now? How these people have any credibility left is beyond me ;)Just look at the data thread, some are practically begging for restrictions. Odd.

I've no idea how many as unless they are actually 'critical incidents' in which something totally unpredictable has happened leaving a hospital or Trust completely overwhelmed and unable to function then they are just difficult periods that have to be managed. That isn't the case in my view.Didn't realise you were an expert on this.
How many critical incidents are declared in a typical winter?
I've no idea myself.
