My mates in this group furloughed unti end of Feb would be Suprised if your employer would have you anywhere near the premises with that letter

My line manager has text me and told me to phone my doctor on Monday to find out why I am in the clinically extremely vulnerable group !!

I think work think I shouldn't be in this group and should be at work. It's a shame the letter doesn't say why. But I guess it's the two small opps I had in October. It will takes ages to get through to my doctor as this surgery is being used to give the anti covid19 jabs for surgery all over the area.

Might just tell a white lie and say it's down to the two small skin cancer opps and the camera up my arse ;)

PS we are still waiting for the council to have a covid19 policy or even a risk assessment.

If you've had Cancer you'll be in the group.

Mrs Moon is, had a stem cell transplant 3 1/2 years ago and has been since the start even though she's 'clear' now.

Stay off work & stay safe, from your posts you seem to be in cabs and out & about with loads of people.

How are doing @tolmie's hairdoo ?
Remember you mentioned those horrific coughing fits and I’m similar at the moment. Bit of bloody fork but nothing else but I end up wrenching.
Suppose this is my body trying to exorcise the bloody demons.

@Mon Autre - you had similar symptoms to me I recall - how long did the worse but last mate?
My tinnitus has flared up too (always during illnesses) compounding my mood :(

the lethargy is surreal.

Sorry to hear your having such a crap time with it. I had 2 days of fever then 5 days with the horrendous throat infection and then the symptoms cleared and I was just knackered for the week after. Hope you feel better soon.

For anyone who lost their sense of taste/smell, how long did it last? And did it come back as quickly as it left or more a gradual thing? Not much to enjoy when you're stuck in isolation, meals was at least one thing I looked forward to in a day.

Thanks for that.

Yes we are in and out of cabs and working around the public.
We are a team of 6 and have been lucky to stay clear, one member is self isolating at the moment as his mum is positive. This is the second time a member of our group has had to do this.

My mate works for another council and has had covid19 and said once it got into the work force nearly everyone has had it.

Sky news do a really good slot every now and then, where kids debunk all the conspiracy's being flown around. It's a shame we need these kids to tell the real news and shame those who spread nonsense.
