Very good overview of national and regional picture across all measures from Kit Yates of Independent Sage. Recommended.
if you or anyone thinks corbyn, Abbott and Mcdonell would be fit to lead this I give up
I feel ya mate. Cracking open the wine, then the rum and not bothering if I even make it off the sofa until the morning off the back of my working week.Had a shit day and week at work so there, had to share it somewhere.
my mrs puts up with it every day, she works in ASDA ,single mums with 3 or 4 kids making a morning of it, people coughing in her face and others keeping no distance, Cressida Dick wants the police vacinated well Dick what about supermarket staff whats good for one is good for another,It's time supermarkets started doing their bit aside from adverts going on about masks and only one person shopping, but then doing bugger all to enforce any of these rules.
I went to do my weekly shop at Aldi today. Although not overly busy, I'd try to time it so it wasn't, there was still couples and whole families shopping. Kids running about grabbing stuff, none in masks, sitting on the counter at the back where you pack your shopping, it winds me up.
Food shopping is the only place I mix now. I have no choice but to go there or I'll starve and deliveries are once again booked up in advance. I understand single parents may have no option but to take their kids but the majority were full families. I feel like I'm playing bloody Russian roulette once a week.
More reason for optimism from Israel.

Avoidable how exactlyQuickly approaching over 100,000 deaths, many of which were avoidable.
The problem with road map idea is that this bloody virus keeps kicking us in unexpected ways, making a nonsense today of what seemed sensible yesterday. Still, as one getting the abdabs now, agree some hope must be given.I read a very distressing article today about a 33 year fitness trainer who committed suicide a few months ago because of lockdown. He simply couldn't cope anymore.
Male suicide in particular has risen sharply in the last year.
These are the hidden side effects that the government isn't telling people about during this pandemic or trying to address.
Last year I felt rotten and contemplated not carrying on and sought help.
The government should really be giving people some hope for the future instead of there daily bulletins of despair.
Yes the figures are not good but the press conferences are awful with Vallance and Whitty and that idiot Hancock.
They give nobody any hope and its always doom and fucking gloom day in day out.
The government needs to issue a road map for recovery and give dates and people some hope.
Otherwise hundreds of others won't want to carry on.
Shame on this government.
