I posted them on the Covid thread last year when people were using the same myth then.

A quick Google search will show you plenty of articles on the subject n’all

no because they have not been counted yet but sadly over the last 2 years i am sure they will have risen sharply!

only last year lol! the true figure should be over the last 2 years ! if you are happy to say they are the same so be it .

Why would they have gone up over the last year, we've hardly had any restrictions. If they were going to rise it would have been in that first year, they didn't.

Last year was 6 weeks ago. The figures came out for 2020 suicides in Autumn 2021 so we won’t be getting 2021’s until late this year.

But we’ve barely had any restrictions at all for the last 11 months so I don’t see how lockdowns would have any impact because we’ve not been in any lockdowns. The data that is there from when we did have a lockdown show that there was no rise in suicides. It’s just a lazy myth that people have been using because there were no figures to back them up so it was easy for them to use it, as soon as figures came out it proved them wrong.
