Something was mentioned in the press that city utd and wolves and Chelsea wont have to self isolate on there return they will relax the rules for footballHow are we going to win it when teams playing us at home are going to have to isolate for 14 days before we play them, and if we play away we'll have to isolate 14 days on return ?
It's utter nonsense that it will get played anytime soon, oh and we aren't even yet through to the 1/4 final.
You keep clinging on to every possible chance of football, despite hundreds continuing to die each day, and thousands still being infected, including professional footballers, eventually the stance of football, will make one of their own seriously ill or dead, but it'll all be worth it to "raise spirits" won't it ?No we don't know that. The French are already exempted. I assume UEFA will discuss a solution with member associations in the weeks to come. It's quite possible that the CL is played out in an overseas country as home and away legs are now pretty meaningless.
If the epidemic returns then the chances of football will recede but if it continues to ebb slowly away then I don't see why it can not resume just like many other parts of life. And football, even without fans is one of the better parts of life. You keep clinging on to every possible chance of football, despite hundreds continuing to die each day, and thousands still being infected, including professional footballers, eventually the stance of football, will make one of their own seriously ill or dead, but it'll all be worth it to "raise spirits" won't it ?
Concerns about PPE costs for the NHS are laughable. The NHS wastes billions through their failed NHS trusts procurement system and has done for decades. Large sections of the NHS aren't actually doing a great deal at the moment all over the country. Hence these ridiculous Tik Tok videos. The hospital near where I live has been dead as a door nail for weeks. Same with private hospitals that are being paid billions by the government to turn away their patients in anticipation of a 'wave' of covid patients that have failed to arrive.
exactly this^ after yesterdays speech there is only one way the R is going in the UK and thats north,,id put my house on this re start failing it simply isnt going to happenAll eyes to Germany, really. If their R rate is above 1, and one of the bigger teams gets it, they'll have the plug pulled for them. And Germany has handled this 100 times better than we have, and a lot of those clubs will be really fucked in a way a lot of the PL clubs won't be.
it will be woth it mark my words, the whole nation cant wait to watch Brighton v Norwich behind closed doorsYou keep clinging on to every possible chance of football, despite hundreds continuing to die each day, and thousands still being infected, including professional footballers, eventually the stance of football, will make one of their own seriously ill or dead, but it'll all be worth it to "raise spirits" won't it ?
Nothing could cheer someone up more after not being able to say goodbye to a loved one than Glenn Murray banging in a penalty in front of a raucous empty stadium to be fair.it will be woth it mark my words, the whole nation cant wait to watch Brighton v Norwich behind closed doors
