In order to minimise unnecessary contact between managers, players and others following the outbreak of COVID-19, there will be no pre-match/post-match press conferences in the Premier League OR mixed zone activity.
This new protocol will come into action from Saturday. Friday pre-match press conferences will go ahead this week - there will then be no press conferences [pre- or post-match] from Saturday.
Why not tomorrow?
Pep Guardiola will NOT take part in a pre-match press conference tomorrow.

Players should just refuse and put themselves in isolation, if that means throwing points/matches if the FArce and Prem League won't do the right thing so be it. PFA should be all over this, at the end of the day these guys are just normal men who have Familys at home etc
Yep just not worth the risk for players, fans or anyone at these clubs.

Belgium as well nowDoes Boris Johnson think he knows better than everyone else in Europe. They have suspended the leagues in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Holland which is the right thing to do. The whole thing is going to get much worse as each day passes. What is the point in trying to get one more game in at the weekend before, most probably, a full suspension is initiated next week.

Arteta has tested positive. All the best to him and more importantly anyone who might be vulnerable in his life. The horrible thing is if older people are going to get it now is the best time for it.
