Coronavirus: Football Discussion Thread

I think they have a similar end of season play off ,like our Rugby league where the league leaders are presented with a leaders trophy and the top 6 play off to be Champions.

They had 11 games left and 10 for double points. More like Scotland but the points are halved and top six play each other twice. The second team would have had it in their hand if the leader had one draw.

How about doing what they did for the Grand National and having a virtual end to the season?

Use algorithm's and statistics and some variables and Bob's your Uncle!

P.S. Forgot to add, throw in some crazy VAR decisons as well to make it more authentic.

If UEFA do decide to hand Liverpool the title ,we should appeal it in the court. Particularly if we do get banned from Europe, we should stink the place out. There is not a court in the land that wouldn't overule our appeal. Yes we would be unpopular with our fellow premier league brethren but who gives a fuck? This would be our chance to gain a modicum of revenge on those horrible bastards
Ultimately if they are awarded it before being mathematicaly out of sight then we could sue the FA for whatever the loss of earnings is in prize money amounting to the difference in 1st and 2nd place. It would be a ****s trick because the dippers were clearly going to win any way, but after the shit they've pulled this year it would be #justice.

The PL say that they hope to play all remaining games by the end of next month in cities that are declared virus-free. City have a choice for both home and away games from the following three cities - New York, London or Wuhan!

NY is the US hotbed of Covid-19. Unlike Wuhan, the actual stats can be trusted.

Was watching an interview with Bill Gates, whose foundation has pledged huge sums to fight Covid. He said that once the stay-at-home lockdowns end, the economy will open - but for essentially businesses. It will then need to be proven that there is no spike in re-infection rates. The Scousers clearly think they are God-like and beyond essential, but I imagine the UK government will see it differently - especially if BoJo pops off.
