Got to be honest, the price of a pint at the match is near enough the cheapest pint I have nowadays, Spoons apart.

A Guinness, a Cider and a decent size water carton yesterday with S/T discount was about £13!

Although tbh water should be available for nowt, anyone ever asked?

It’s definitely available free in the North stand if you ask for it .

I tend to pay £3.30 to £3.80 in normal pubs, so it is about 56% extra at the game for worse offering.

So its not really a fair comparison then is it lol

or are you saying the drink you can get in a pub for £3 is double the price at the stadium?
Even London Pride was about £6 a can in the stadium, that is 440 not 568.

The pub near the Railway at Todmorden (Meesh probably familiar) that used to be a Spoons was £3.30 for Directors when I went in earlier this year. 100% is double not 56%, I was using the 10% off price compared to the mean of £3.65.

“Directors”, wow it must be 40 years since I last heard of that beer. Don’t think I liked it at the time but my mates raved about it. Think it had a stronghold in the Midlands where I was living at the time.

Are you lot seriously paying £6 for pints in pubs? You’re going to the wrong pubs lads.

When we’re sponsored by Asahi, I’m almost certain they could charge less than they do, it’s gone up this season but I’m not sure by how much. It’s gone up generally from like £4.50 to £6.10 in a few years at City.

I always think, cheap as fuck pints would be the easiest way for them to create a better atmosphere. Get everyone bladdered, do a 2 for 1 happy hour. Surely they don’t need the money.
