Why do you have to single out the country of origin as part of the slur? Japan make extremely good beer, and Asahi is definitely one of the best session lagers out there.

Are you lot seriously paying £6 for pints in pubs? You’re going to the wrong pubs lads.

When we’re sponsored by Asahi, I’m almost certain they could charge less than they do, it’s gone up this season but I’m not sure by how much. It’s gone up generally from like £4.50 to £6.10 in a few years at City.

I always think, cheap as fuck pints would be the easiest way for them to create a better atmosphere. Get everyone bladdered, do a 2 for 1 happy hour. Surely they don’t need the money.

The 3 Station Tap bars in Town is about £6 a pint.

JW Lees craft Lager is about £6 wherever.

Nice Pubs / Bars South Mcr, Lymm, Cheshire you're generally looking between £5 and £6.

I do tend to drink more Lager's these days though which are probably more expensive than the beers.
Although, my favourite is draft Erdinger, light or dark, for £6, at a newish bar in Lymm village.

Admittedly I'm no longer in Manchester so don't have to pay the tariff but, when I was I didn't pay crazy prices, there's always another pub especially if you're out for a drink not a pose.

Nowadays I drink on the coast, Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Blackpool area and can pay anything from £1.49 a pint upto £3.40 and that's in some decent pubs/bars that aren't TB (tourist bastard) dives.

As for the price in the ground, as I drive I'm a one pint guy and not every game. The price being a captive audience isn't extreme but the quality especially of Asahi is crap in plastic.....go with the Groulsh cheaper and tastes better in the ground.

I'm not surprised tbh. I was last in Brighton 10 years ago and it was London prices then. I begrudge paying £4 a pint nevermind 6 or 7 quid. I've cut right down on high sugar alcohol because I've had to being recently told I'm type 2. I'm getting quite used to drinking pints of sugar free orange soda n' ice at 25p a pint in my local : )

It’s definitely available free in the North stand if you ask for it .

Drinkable water has to be provided upon request for free where it is ‘reasonably available’ as a matter of law.

Is that the Sussex Best? It got the Gold Star at a beer festival I went to in 2013, so was surprised to see it at the ground.
