A new article on the OS ... Coming Soon Inside City.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Club-news/2011/August/Inside-City-brings-more-behind-the-scenes-access" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Club-news/20 ... nes-access</a>?

Looks like it could be interesting though. Think the Tunnel Cam stuff is great.

Anybody else ever wonder how long before lots of video content on the OS goes behind a paywall like at other clubs?

In the next three years is my best guess.

I disagree. I'm sure Premium TV have tried to get into City at some stage with all their adverts and pay content. But I really think City want to give something to the fans and this content is excellent. We don't need the few quid you'd get subscribing anyway.

CityTV is the best

I love the Tunnel cam stuff, and this sounds like another great idea.

Well done City.

As I've commented before many times on this forum, it won't happen, at least before there is a massive change in the structure of the club (like "new owner" sized change). It's one of the key fundamentals of doing what's right for the fans that Khaldoon brought in, that he got the club to spend literally millions on all the media stuff that goes on the website - which also ties in with his "enabling fans around the world" policy, and to shame every other club declared that it would be free to access forever.

On the other hand, it does mean that no matter how many "when will they make cityTV a cable channel?" threads that we get (and there have been many) it will never happen. Of course, to me that is a godsend too.t's one of the key fundamentals of doing what's right for the fans that Khaldoon brought in, that he got the club to spend literally millions on all the media stuff that goes on the website - which also ties in with his "enabling fans around the world" policy, and to shame every other club declared that it would be free to access forever.
