If City and Spurs both acquire 10 points or more from their last few games, then no, Liverpool will not finish fourth.

If Liverpool win all of their remaining games, they will finish 5th. They'll deserve too as well having won 6 of their final 7 games and drawing away at Arsenal in the other one, however, the first word of this post is a MASSIVELY important one!

If Liverpool finish above Spurs from the position they are in then I think it's safe to say we will from the position we're in too!

Well after the scousers winning again today and now within 3 points of Spurs, their last four games are all winnable.

That could give them 64 points, meaning we need another 9 points from our last six games.

I know many on here have written Liverpool off a long time ago, but I still worry about us having a wobble! A couple of lazy draws and they could be in sight of us.

The above is actually a very realistic scenario...but with one downside I read this morning

Blackpool are in line to get a Europa league place through the fair play league as Manchester United and Tottenham have the top two fair play records and will probably qualify in Europe through legimate means..

Guessing this would go to Spurs if they miss out :-(

Or we could try and get several sent off in the game at Eastlands to ruin that as well

Agreed; 14 points from our last 6 games is tough. We've still got to go to Everton and Bolton and Spurs have to come to us. I can see 11 at best (wins against WHU, Stoke and Blackburn; draws against Bolton and Spurs and defeat at Everton).
