Could RSC be the answer?

I think it's unfair for anyone to say he's had a fair run in the team, nor is it his fault that he is injured frequently and cost so much.
If someone is prepared to pay that much for a player then it is none of his business, and I would love for Santa Cruz to get fit and show the form he showed at Blackburn, but under Mancini I can't see that happening as he doesn't seem to favor him which is a shame because he seems like a sound guy.

Ah well, wont hurt to bring in Dzeko I suppose =]

I don't see anyone on this thread slagging him off tbh with you. Just people saying he's not good enough. The form he showed at Blackburn for one season is a blip in any otherwise unremarkable career. What we've seen is the real RSC :-( Not his fault of course, he's just not very good!

Yes, of course the comment "He's Shit" obviously doesn't stand out at you huh :p

But I digress, I was referring to comments that someone said he had a chance in the squad and the comments of how much he cost and such.

Well he is quite shit ;-)

There was no competition to sign RSC in the first place, Sven has not enquired about him going on loan to Leicester and the only premiership club to have expressed any recent interest in him is Fulham- should tell you all you need to know.

I am disappointed that RSC hasn't been given much of a chance this year. Unlike many on here, I don't share the view that he is shit! FFS he has been injured since he arrived and has never really acquired proper match fitness. He lacks versatility (not Mancini type player - not gonna drift out wide etc) as he is an orthodox centre forward. But of our clutch of forwards he is the only one who offers any genuine aerial threat; I remember that game against Blackburn when he completely dominated Dunnie! He also possess greater discipline than Ade and is more of a team player. As for Jo, RSC is streets ahead of him as a CF - he just can't fill that 'widish leftish' position. He isn't a long term answer, but I am surprised that he hasn't been used in specific circumstances this season e.g when struggling to score against Everton, he would have provided us with an option to go more direct. Hopefully, Dzeko will fill this particular void in our squad, and he looks a cultured player as well, but I am just not having some of the comments on here about RSC. One of the things I have recently wondered is whether the club are just trying to wrap him up in cotton wool rather than jeopordise a January sale.

If Mancini wants to set the team back 20 months then yeah bring him in. Bob knows the game and I'm sure Mario and Tev will work soon. It's worked on our travels. Just hope Balotelli's not injury prone.
