Could This Formation Solve Most Of Our Problems

Just on the border of your waking mind.
I've suggested this in a few pre match and other threads over the last month and it's what I'd have gone for against Arsenal. I'll first explain why I would have chosen it against Arsenal then go on hopefully to explain why I think I would solve a lot of our problems.

........... Hart............
Sagna...Ottomendi...Clichy
....Dinho........Delph.....
...........KDB.............
Navas.............Sterling.
..........Merlin.............
........Iheanacho.........

Against Arsenal it would have allowed Dinho/ Delph to get to grips with Ozil.
It would also have got both KDB and Merlin more or less in their favoured positions. Flamini couldn't have marked Silva go close as it would have allowed KDB a free role in that position and vice versa. If Flamini was designated to mark Silva then Arsenal would have had to deal with KDB. The centre halves couldn't have done it unless Koselny did it and it would have left Kelechi 1v1 with Metersacker. The full backs couldn't do it as they have been occupied with our wide men. They would have probably had to mark KDB with Ramsey stopping his forward efforts. Pellers would have from the off would have had Wenger reacting to him. Later in the game you could have introduced Kun and Toure etc etc.

Now why it would solve most of our problems.
This formation has produced a strong team without so much reliance on our spine. No Kompany, Toure, Kun etc. If Kun and Komps fully fit no doubt you can slot them in and make this formation mega strong.

You can play returning players such as Zab either as one of the back 3 or one of the wides. It allows Kolorov to do the same.

Against stronger teams you can just get Dinho/Delph/ Fernando to sit. Against weaker teams they can be more offensive. You have 2 players defending the heart of our defence.

If you want to accomodate Bony or a returning Kun you can as one of the number 10 roles could be switched to a second striker 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 with minimum disruption.

Finally it solves the Yaya problem as he can replace one of the number 10's and revives him of most defensive duties.

For the very best in Europe you can play 2 defensive minded wing backs.

Sorry for any typing mistakes as I've had a fair amount of alcohol tonight.

Merry Xmas everyone hope you have a good one.

Skipped most of that and just got to I've had a lot of alcohol tonight! Merry Xmas blue.

Merry Christmas

That fucking smiley thing half way down is the sort of thing they post on Ragcaf. Stop drinking.......

Otamendi has no discipline at the back. He is out of position constantly. Hopefully Kidd et al can coach that out of his game.

Messi
Messi Messi Messi
Messi Messi

Hart

that should do it instead!
Good line up, but Hart is also shite, so you may need to think about your goalie.
