Could we get 2nd place?

Although unlikely it's mathematically possible that Arsenal could finish outside the top 5 and not make Champions League (that would really make me laugh). But it's not going to happen (nor is City finishing 2nd - although also possible)

No, absolutely not. I'd be fucking overjoyed with 4th. It's so obvious that the club needs CL football for the finance.

Seems mad that it's even mathematically possible, but can't see us realistically making up a six point (and eleven goal deficit) over four games.

Not entirely Impossible especially if arsenal rest up a full 11 before their champions league games but doesn't matter one bit tbh, if you cant win the league the objective becomes just finish somewhere within the top 4/5

As it stands. The prize money is well worth it.

4th (Nottingham Forest) – £47.9m

£8m between the 4 positions. We're getting a minimum £50m just for turning up for the club world world cup, it's a nice extra but it's insignficant in the grand scheme of things.

Could make 10 goals up against Soton if we get the rub of the green

Soton 1 City 0 incoming !

I have realised a lot of my Liverpool hatred stemmed down from Klopp. Don't get me wrong, I still don't like them, the players or the fans and I wish neither could win anything. Liverpool equaling Uniteds total is a softener as well.

Arteta is a bell end of the highest order. A horrible man who is a snide. Their fans are not far behind Liverpool and players are probably worse. Gabriel, Lewis Skelly etc. If you don't hate Arsenal as much is up to you, to not understand it is a bit weird

There’s a very giddy contingent to Arsenal’s fanbase which I find funny more than anything. They always get all hyped up and always fall short.

With the scousers though there’s this deep rooted sense of entitlement and a real paranoid cult mentality, they’re very nasty. Arsenal fans are annoying and talk a load of old nonsense but there’s not that same ingrained nastiness about them.

Arteta - honestly he doesn’t bother me. He’s playing to his audience and IMO fair play to him for learning his trade under Pep and doing a decent job at Arsenal.

All this is just my opinion and I know I am in a minority of blues who aren’t really bothered or offended by them.

With me I think it’s because in our darker times I always quite liked watching them, especially when they were going up against the rags. Some of those Wenger sides played lovely football, and I’ll always think of Wenger as being one of the all time greats.

The way he was treated towards the end was a disgrace.

In summary I think of a lot the shit that comes from arsenal fans towards us can be thrown into the “banter” bucket. With the murderers and the rags though it’s a lot more deep rooted and genuinely nasty. They can fuck right off. I’d support Arsenal over the dippers any day of the week.

If we come any lower than 3rd, Sorriano will have to charge £72 for a midweek game next season just to cover the shortfall!

As stated elsewhere 16/1 for us to finish 2nd.
Bookies rarely get it wrong - if they did we'd all be making money hand over fist.
I'll take top 5, without worrying about the specific place, as we'll be straight into the group phase of the "shower of shit" competition. Only concerned about the cash, and it's pull, now we've won it
