When Rooney is 'on' I'd say he's the best player in the league and can pretty much single-handedly win big games for United. He goes through spells of playing like a pub footballer though and these seem to be getting more frequent. Like some have said I wouldn't be surprised if he only has a couple more seasons left as a top player due to fitness.

His ability as a player aside, I Think Rooney hates us more than pretty much any player out there. So just on that basis I'd say no. I'd take Ronaldo in a second though.

Signing RVP as the out and out centre forward has done nothing but hurt Rooney as a player. He drops way too deep.

Would be interesting to see how many yellows he gets with us compared to his record at Utd but for me if city bought him then id get behind the managers decision and back him but it would just feel wrong and wierd at first.
