Did anyone see the banner shown before the game with the 35 years crossed out?
Sorry to be a pessimist but surely we should wait until we have hopefully won the FA Cup.
Banners like that have a horrible knack of coming back to haunt us, what does everyone think?

Am I a negative grumpy fooker
Or
Right to not get to giddy?

I think most people are just being optimistic, that's all. And why not? We're in the FA Cup Final and pretty much nailed on for C.L. football next season, nothing wrong with getting a bit giddy - considering how things used to be.

it was a stupid, presumptuous and arrogant banner

stoke have as much chance of winning the cup as us

Didn't see it but that's the sort of thing that could bite us on the arse if we lose. Stupid and arrogant. Leave that to United fans please.

Your a realist, although it looks good, I still refuse to admit that 4th is ours, again this sounds negative but I wouldn't be surpised if we got nothing from our next 2 games, letting Spurs back in. Hope im wrong but Everton and Spurs are traditionally 2 of our hardest fixtures, wherever we play them. Nothing is done and dusted yet, not by a long shot.

That's the sort of thing that will be shown on forums of the rags like the Tevez "sign him up" poster that appears on here all the time.
I do think we will win it and finish 4th but its not beyond possibility that Stoke, Everton and Spurs could beat us and this time in 2 week we could all be suicidal!

I'd never count our chickens!
who ever did that banner must of been supporting City for about 2 years!
If we lose to Stoke that banner will be rammed in our faces by all the media and especially the scum! Idiotic banner! And everyone around me at the ground thought the same!
