Yeah, always good when an entire fanbase loses its football club but to celebrate seeing a club dying on its arse is poor form. Nearly 30,000 people are on the brink of no longer having a football club to support and all you have to offer up is gleeful derision? Very classy of you.

They didn't own the ground - the council and another company owned it - they in turn flogged it on the cheap to WASPS to avoid being saddled with a white elephant. That is why it pissed SISU off, they were running the club into the ground in the hope that SISU would get the ground on the cheap but the council flogged it to WASPS instead.

Apologies I thought they initially owned it, they sold something off (training ground ?), either way its been very badly run as a club.

It's a load of bollocks because 30,000 coventrian's haven't given a shit on a regular basis since around the 60's. They turn up for the Checkatrade trophy final and that's it.

Moving to the new stadium should have been the start of them establishing themselves at the top, instead it started an ever worsening decline. Weren't they solely in charge of the running costs of the stadium at the start, which they couldn't afford to do ?
