You have my sympathies.I live in Coventry. It's not great. There are nice areas but the dross easily outnumber the good.
My mum told me both my former schools are flattened now. Whoberley Hall and Woodlands. Pleased to hear the latter had gone. Was full of twats when I was there (myself probably included)

The good and aspirational people of Coventry seem to aspire to live in the nearby Leamington Spa, which is indeed a great place.
Maybe this award can help Coventry; I recall Mcr was not so great before the bomb, but it was our place and we made the most of it and loved it for all it's shitty/quirky faults. I'm sure the people of Coventry feel the same about their city.
