If not already posted, ‘Hurt’ by Johnny Cash, a cover of the Nine Inch Nails original. Having given his permission with some reservations, Trent Rezznor himself was mightily impressed by Cash’s cover. Also a shout out for these two covers of Kate Bush originals: ‘Hounds of Love’ by the Futureheads (a brilliant interpretation) and ‘Running Up That Hill by Placebo (not a band I’m a fan of but it’s a good cover).
