Friend of mine in Cornwall just told me hundreds of tourists have invaded for Easter. Tut Tut.
Thats correct. The daily test will be a lot closer as tests only take 24 hours and I assume always take 24 hours so while there will be a slight lag there won’t be some from days or weeks ago other other sources to add in. The most accurate will be hospital admissions and ICU numbers, and these are what the government will make decisions on.But then some of those who died yesterday, will have their death reported. As @BlueAnorak stated, there are issues with reporting the data in a timely fashion. I have given up using daily reported deaths as a good indicator for understanding the 'curve'.
Anyone know if positive test data is up to date?
It's only us and the media using the deaths to measure the pandemic. The government will be going on hospital and ICU admissions more.
The NHS and ONS downloads are accurate. The NHS one specifies which columns are subject to change. But then some of those who died yesterday, will have their death reported. Yeah in a week’s time we could find out 1000 died today, only 200 of which were reported today.so the actual days deaths could be higher now than whats being reported

The Scottish briefings give the figures every day , not sure where the UKfigures are, but they did show a graph for critical care at yesterdays briefing that showed a levelling off, so it must be available somewhere.Where is this data?
What's the matter with them? How many times do they have to be told? More severe measures are clearly necessary. First offence crucifixion, after that God knowsFriend of mine in Cornwall just told me hundreds of tourists have invaded for Easter. Tut Tut.
The average wait for an ambulance in London last month was 1h 1m 22s, compared to 22m 02s in February
Where is this data?
Plus they all reckon up to the total correctly, day-by-day, without actually being accurate for that particular day on the day.Yeah but I'm saying yesterdays figures would include catch ups and also the day before that as well. It's a pipeline process so what happens in the pipeline today probably happened yesterday too.
If it isn't then the numbers will crash next week when we pass the peak.
I was working in this field as part my day job from 2003-2006. What matters is that the data is recorded against the correct point in time not when it was reported.
Can I Brexit from all the idiots in Britain? I don’t want to be part of this country with them.Friend of mine in Cornwall just told me hundreds of tourists have invaded for Easter. Tut Tut.
All these twats should be banned from driving and their passport rescinded for 10 years because fines are no deterrentCan I Brexit from All the idiots in the rest of Britain? I don’t want to be part of this country with them.

I think they should all be, anything from: fined, banned from driving, banned from holidaying, made to work on the front line in hospitals changing bedsheets, deported to some random island nobody else lives on, charged with terrorist offences, shot in the head...All these twats should be banned from driving and their passport rescinded for 10 years because fines are no deterrent
Whilst impressive, I suspect the behind closed doors crimes will have increased. Domestic abuse, sexual abuse but they're the ones that don't come out until months/years down the line.Just seen the crime figures for Kent. Reported crimes almost halved (- 46 %) in the last week of March compared to the same week last year. Wow!
Yes. This is the 3rd day on the bounce that we're below the logrithmic increase trend line. This probably means the peak really will be on Sunday or Monday.
If so, it's highly likely that we will be behind Spain and Italy in mortality statics per head of population. (France and Begium too).
I like the last one ...radical I knowI think they should all be, anything from: fined, banned from driving, banned from holidaying, made to work on the front line in hospitals changing bedsheets, deported to some random island nobody else lives on, charged with terrorist offences, shot in the head...
Take your pick.
