Some of the recent more tragic stories coming out of Madrid is that they’re finding bodies in old people’s homes that were left because of a similar situation to the one you describe. The virus got into some homes in Madrid two weeks before anyone even knew it was in Madrid. You can only imagine how many caught it.yup it actually would. But I can see bins not being emptied, fire service understaffed if this continues.
I work in the care industry and staff are going into self isolation every day leaving less and less people to go out into the field. Some vulnrable people are losing the care they had.

Pictures of people in their teens and twenties, dying, might help change the behaviour of the morons. Another group of about 15 kids just sauntered past the house without a care in the world.

Anyone else find the scaremongering from the media disgraceful?. The latest Mail headline is about a guy who contracted Corona, and died on his own in self isolation even though he was married. Nothing wrong with that, but the bit about how it started with a scratchy throat causes sheer panic now throughout the country.
Loads of people with the slightest of sore throats must shit themselves, they're just creating more fear. I've given up with the news and papers now after that latest panic story.

They can’t even report facts straight they spin it. Even after the lock down important press conference Beth rigby immediately falsely reported what was said - he said work from home if you can but if it’s essential that you have to travel to work then that’s ok.

Now cos piers Morgan isn’t affected by the economy crashing he then lays into construction workers and try’s to close all th sites in the uk, even though that wasn’t the govt advice , confusing the public.
the latest spin is the tube trains Are crammed and full because of construction workers . No they are not they are full because people are following the advice and going to work because it can’t be done at home like piers fucking Morgan. Also because some bright spark decided it would be a good idea to half the capacity???
There are scare stories about the hospitals yet the the chief medical officer yesterday said the hospitals were not and as of yesterday he said it was just like a busy day in winter for the nhs but that they expect it will get busy in the next few weeks .
They criticise the fight response but here are some stats ....
