Sky have done undercover in greater Manchester pubs,only one sticking to getting people's details,the rest are not bothering ,punters not bothered,people think it has gone,over and done,selfish twats

It is shady and on purpose,they are pushing for schools to open,any rise and they might have to back track,this is politics 101 and unforgivable behaviour,we need people to continue to be careful ,not giving out proper numbers will not help

So what no one is leaving their real details anyway remember loads on here saying they wouldn't do it. It practically is gone for the time being at least giving your name and address isn't going to make much difference. Every time a pub has anyone with it is in the papers anyway probably find out sooner from there.

My mate did jury service at Manchester crown court last week and his case finished on Thursday. Court got shut on Friday due to covid didn't even get a call to get tested

It's by absolutely no means practically away. It's still there and liable to make a resurgence at any given time. See Aberdeen. People and businesses alike need to follow the rules, the contact tracing is an important part of those rules.

Sorry I forgot lockdown only stops covid doesn't it. Fact of the matter is under the same set of circumstances and same environment it is nowhere near the most dangerous virus in our country at the moment. Pretty sure they know how to treat flu yet over 1,000 a week are unfortunately dying, that's down on normal figures as well.

Two different infections,acting differently,it will be the old and sick dying of flu as usual,covid is still the more dangerous of the two as we don't have immunity

where are these figures ?

Apparently the average is 17k a year, so not sure 1000 per week is possible during the summer.
