Question on testing and lockdown advice on this weekend

Various pillars on testing, cant keep up,sorry

people MUST stick to the normal guidelines

Questions on care homes, patients not being admitted to hospital,is social care being looked after?

Not a blanket rule people in care homes not admitted to hospital,we have plenty of critical care beds, down to the patients dr to decide if they go or not

PPE question

many firms are turning over their business to make them,it is distribution that is the prob not stock, trying to get it to social care as well as the nhs

That **** from Sky Sam Coates actually said you told my colleague you think we will peak on the 12th. He said nothing of the sort as I watched the interview and it was his mate Boulton.

Just an outright fuckin lie, and I'm even sticking up for a Tory.

Journalists are twattier than politicians.

Mind boggles
Doesn't it just. Can you imagine where we'd be if he said, yes, that's fine but only for an hour ?
I'd personally have road checks across the country over the weekend. More than a mile from your home address, without a specific reason and you'll be booked.

Facemasks ,contraversal area,WHO have done a review,no evidence of well people wearing them making a difference,do not recommend the public use them
,more a cultural thing

Hard to believe that, isn't it. I mean if you are on a tube train and someone 2 feet away coughs, would you want that cough in your face, or into their face mask?

Another one of those "no correlation between genius and common sense" studies that one I fear. It's a ****ing no brainer that masks help.

Just watched the photos from funeral of youngest UK victim so far. His dad died from cancer few weeks ago and his mom and 6 other siblings, two of whom have symptoms too, are at home in self isolation. Heartbreaking stuff. To lose your 13-years old child without having a chance to say goodbye first in hospital and then on funeral, you can't ever recover from that.

So terribly true, so sickeningly sad. The vast majority will come out of this comparatively unscathed, but some families and communities are going to be psychologically scarred for generations.
