No, why?Have you ever done either ?
Boris doesn't give a fuck if a few plebs die to keep his mates profiting.Yes, why governments are letting flights continue and letting airlines decide these issues is a bit beyond me. Boris needs to get his act together.
Good to have that kind of first hand information.I think the numbers from China are now likely to be *more* accurate than they were a month or so ago, but I am not sure we have any reason to believe they are entirely accurate, as even WHO is there on negotiated terms of entry and will probably not have access to all areas or data. And China still needs to project control and a sense that coronavirus is on the decline in order to stabilise their economy and world perception of it. Not to mention China has previous for filtering information beyond this outbreak (I have dealt with it directly working with MSF and it is one of the reasons MSF suspended operations there).
I didn't mean sandwiches specifically, nor where you got them. But if you are out and about and have not had chance to actually wash your hands thoroughly (and even then) then eating with your fingers is IMO a bad idea. I have no evidence for this, but it just seems to stand to reason that if you might have virus on your hands, you don't want them anywhere near your mouth.
To be fair, in your case it was due to the lewd shapes people kept cutting them in to before serving.they've been banned for meetings in our work.

Your mouth is fairly safe, once you swallow your stomach acid will kill any virus particles.I didn't mean sandwiches specifically, nor where you got them. That's contrary to all advice, not to touch your mouth, nose or eyes.Your mouth is fairly safe...
Yet you're also being advised to keep drinking water to flush any germs into your stomach. Your mouth is only really dangerous if it's dry. That's contrary to all advice, not to touch your mouth, nose or eyes.
This seems a strange hill to die on, mate.Well stop comparing them to war heroes if you don’t have a clue.

The WHO have been all over the situation in China and have validated numbers.I think that's a fair view considering they initially tried to cover this virus up. That said it would take some balls to pretend that things had improved significantly when they were still escalating. Pretty sure they would get found out by the WHO quickly. South Korea may be a more accurate reflection of where the disease is going to go. New cases there are also starting decrease which is a positive.
Yes but they’ll give it to the scousers... every cloud and all that.....

They’ve validated the numbers they can validate. I think it would be incredibly naive to think they have complete access to all data and areas for full validation. The WHO have been all over the situation in China and have validated numbers.
Just change Karen's to Pestilence.
it has so many shall we say side efects other than killing people. as you say the Economy, other people will lose their lives while falling victim to heart attacks etc as the system wont be able to cope, investments have gone tits up, its going to hit hard,, i was looking for a new car but thats been shelved until this is over so thats another example of people restricting spending, anyone with a decent amount of cash stashed especially with a mortgage are not going to spend it incase they or their partner cant work
I am not saying none of the data coming out of China can be trusted — I do genuinely think the WHO is helping to make certain metrics more accurate. I just would strongly suggest that the data be taken with a few grains of salt, as there is very little reason to believe they would suddenly handle this crisis drastically differently to previous ones, especially given they attempted to hide the extent of the initial outbreak until global health agencies, other influential governments, and the severity of the outbreak forced them to open up to limited observation and assistance (on negotiated terms, I might add), and this crisis is potentially far more impactful to their economy and society than any before it.Like I said, I don’t believe a single word or figure they come out with, they have 5 times more critical cases than Italy yet 1/7 of the death rate *rolls eyes*
Plus all the dying people in apartment blocks welded shut... I’m sure only 17 died in the last 24 hours. Dread to think what is actually going on there.
